Bulgaria now has a festival in full trap style!
After the trap became one of the most popular and most listened to styles all over the world, it was only a matter of time when such an event would be organized in Bulgaria as well.
We are happy to announce that the MENACE TO SOCIETY Festival featuring Tekashi 6ix9ine and NLE Choppa will take place on October 16 this year at the Sofia Arena (formerly Armeets).
The festival is a product of the collaboration of two European Booking & Event companies – J-Noah and Whoop Events, which in recent years have dominated Europe with events featuring artists such as Tyga, Gucci Mane, Offset, Quavo, DaBaby, Sean Paul and many others.
For the first edition of MENACE TO SOCIETY, they bring the provocative star Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose concert in our country fans have been waiting for years.
Danny Hernandez, better known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, is an American rapper and singer. His style is aggressive and provocative not only because of his colorful hair, but also because of public feuds with colleagues and legal problems. 6ix9ine rose to fame in late 2018 following the release of his debut single ‘Gummo’. He then released the mixtape ‘Day68’, followed by the tracks ‘Kooda’, ‘Keke’ and ‘Gotti’ (all on Billboard’s Hot 100). ‘FEFE’ featuring Nicki Minaj and Murda Beats, a single from his debut album ‘Dummy Boy’ (2018), reached number three on the Hot 100. The album has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His first single ‘Gooba’, along with its video, broke the record for the most viewed online hip-hop video in the first 24 hours.
Before him, NLE Choppa will also perform at the festival, who is coming to Bulgaria for the second time after his completely sold-out concert in 2020.
Bryson LaShun Potts, known professionally as NLE Choppa, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He broke through with his 2019 single ‘Shotta Flow’, which was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and peaked in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. The song’s success was followed by remixes with some of the biggest trap artists in the states that also had the success of the original.
Subsequently, NLE signed with the Warner Records label and released his hit album ‘Top Shotta’, which reached the Top 10 on the US Billboard 200.
Currently, NLE has collaborations with the biggest names in the genre such as Lil’ Baby, Takeoff, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Fivio Foreign, Rick Ross, Central Cee, Sexyy Red and many more.

In addition to the two headliners, more than 10 native trap artists, groups and DJs will appear on stage, which will be announced further.
